How the warehouse management system CORAX WMS helped Kärcher Georgia company in business development
Kärcher company has been operating in the market since 1935, and today its products are sold in nearly 150 countries. The organization manufactures only household and professional cleaning equipment. Among them, nearly 2000 different types of devices are stored in ALC's warehouse, where operations are managed by the CORAX WMS warehouse management system.
Currently, Kärcher has six centers throughout Georgia: in Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, and Tbilisi (two), and their products can also be found in large retail chains such as Elite, Carrefour, Nova, Contact Home, and Mihaus.
Kärcher Georgia has been collaborating with A Logistics Company (ALC) since 2021. ALC is one of the largest and most successful logistics companies in the Georgian market. The main reason for the collaboration between these two organizations was precisely ALC's ability to offer high-level 3PL services to the client. 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) is a logistics service model that includes outsourcing various processes. 3PL services include:
- Receiving goods
- Storage
- Inventory management
- Order collection
- Delivery to retail network
- Delivery to customers (online sales)
In addition, Kärcher can request reports on orders and distributed products at any time — CORAX has virtually unlimited online memory storage. Thus, any issues regarding inventory are handled by a third party.
To better understand how 3PL and CORAX WMS helped Kärcher develop its business, we can look at the dynamics of the partnership between these two companies.
Since 2021, representatives of ALC and Kärcher have maintained active business relationships. This involves the logistics manager, warehouse manager, operational analysts, and others. It should be noted that this relationship helps both parties simplify processes. Kärcher Georgia provides ALC with orders in a programming language that is automatically processed, allowing the warehouse administrator to save time and resources. They don't have to manually enter data into the program. In turn, CORAX WMS offers Kärcher service flexibility, which includes:
- Speed of order processing
- Timely delivery
- Managing procedures from receiving products in the warehouse to distribution
All this ultimately reflects in the fact that during inventory audits in the warehouse, deviations or discrepancies in stock have never been recorded. The program allows the warehouse to work quickly and without interruption even during Kärcher's major promotional days. Because of this, Kärcher often expresses gratitude and satisfaction towards ALC's warehouse staff.
Regarding these issues, we conducted an interview with Kärcher's Logistics, Customer Care, and Supply Chain Manager. When asked whether the organization is satisfied with ALC's service, Tamar Kaia responded: "We are very satisfied with ALC's 3PL service. This collaboration allows our company to become more flexible and better adapt to customer requirements. Their logistics solutions help us optimize operations and improve service quality."
Regarding the increase in customer service quality, she added: "Customer satisfaction has significantly increased after implementing the 3PL service. Particularly notable improvement can be seen in the online delivery strategy, which we developed together with ALC in the shortest possible time. This innovative approach allows us to respond to modern market challenges and meet customers' growing expectations."
When asked whether 3PL and CORAX WMS helped Kärcher Georgia increase its business scale, Tamar responded: "CORAX WMS (Warehouse Management System) has significantly helped our company scale and grow our business. During our collaboration period, our operational movements have only increased, and it is precisely this systematic support that allows us to manage processes without deficiencies. The integration of CORAX WMS has enabled us to effectively handle increased demands and maintain high service quality, which is an important foundation for stable business growth."
It's worth noting that during the business relationship between the two companies, Kärcher Georgia's business expanded even further, and four new branches were opened: in Zugdidi, Telavi, Kutaisi, and Vazha-Pshavela (Tbilisi).
To increase competitiveness and expand business scale, modern companies choose innovative technologies. Kärcher Georgia recommends ALC: "We will definitely recommend ALC's 3PL service to other companies and we always do. Their professionalism, flexible approach, and innovative solutions are truly worthy of recommendation. Our experience shows that ALC's 3PL service is a reliable partner on the path to business growth and efficiency improvement."
